I am trying to separate a computer from the keyboard and touch screen.
I was exploring KVM extenders with USB ports. I was told that the touch
screen might not work through the standard USB KVM extenders.

However, it was suggested to me that I could use a 75' video extender
cable (VEXT-3/6/10/15/25/35/50/75/100
http://www.networktechinc.com/cable-pc.html)and a USB extender
(XTENDEX™ USB-C5 Remote Unit
http://www.networktechinc.com/usbc5.html).

1) Does anyone have experience using a video extender cable? Any
problems with video quality through a 75'cable?

2) Anyone know about pushing a USB touch screen through a USB extender?
Thanks in advance.

My cable guy, no longer with us, made very high quality video cables
for trade shows. They weren't cheap but he was able to consistently
deliver high quality video at the end of 75' or even longer than that.
So it is possible. As he used to ask me, "do you want good or cheap?"
