Hi:
When I run Disc Cleanup from the Start menu--using the Windows ME
CLEANMGR.EXE, it shows 0 megs in Temp files and in TIFs.. Even though there
are a few Megs there. It also fails to
delete them when I hit OK.

Ccleaner does its job well and quickly. Only thing to watch is not to use
the "clean on boot" option but rather clean immediately before shutting
down.
If you clean on boot, ccleaner will render System Restore inaccessible and
come up with the message "Restart the computer". Of course if you do,
ccleaner will clean on boot and render System Restore .....
From one who knows
