Watch the screen carefully as you boot, and just before the mainboard POST
begins, the BIOS for the video system should report, including the amount of
installed video system memory and the video BIOS version.

If not, follow Jerry and Heirloom's advice.

This reference is to your C:\Windows\System\vmm32.vxd file, a file unique
to your machine, created when WinME was first installed. The size is of
this file and has nothing to do with the video system memory, either on a
video card or a part of the installed system memory used by the video
system.
