Compatibility!!

Archived from groups: alt.comp.hardware.pc-homebuilt (More info?)

I'm building my first computer, and I have a spec list and I have no
idea if it will all be compatible. So if anyone notices any glaring
problems or whether it will work or not, that would be great.

i would just get a standard ATX board...
the micro ATX boards are fairly useless if you ever need to add more
    cards...
and unless you need and have apps that can take advantage of dual cpu's...
    it'll just be money wasted

Well, other than the power supply being incompatible with EVERYTHING (unless
you really WANT un unstable system, that is), I see no major problems. But
I'd strongly suggest you get a DVD burner for (probably) the same amount of
money that you were planning to spend on a combo drive. Suggested
