After upgrading to Win XP SP2 I can no longer connect to any wireless network
(whether WEP protected or not). The software that came with the adapter does
not function becasue WinXp is trying to control the Wireless system. When I
try to connect using the WinXp controller it says that my wireless connection
is currently not configured to connect to access points and I should go to
the advanced tab to do so. The advanced tab has access point connection
checked off. When I go to the Wireless tab to try to uncheck the WinXP
controller I get a message that some of my changes have not been applied.
How can I get the Wireless USB adapter to work??? This has happened on 2
machines I've upgraded (the upgrade to SP2 was done wirelessly)

The WZC wants you to save changes before you change pages, so if you changed
nothing, don't worry about the message.
Have you gone through and set up the connection on the Windows utility?
I have gotten the impression that some hardware utilities don't play nice
with Windows WZC. There may be some type of conflict going on, but no
proof. Try to set it up using just the WZC. Since you get a blue screen
when you start the other one, I would uninstall it since you may want to
reinstall later after you have disabled the WZC is you decide to go that
way.
