Assuming that your old keyboard was ps/2 (small, round, plug with six pins)
or a serial connector AND your new one has the same connector, you should
only need to unplug the old and plug in the new - with the PC switched off.
Then re-boot and all should be well.
You shouldn't need to uninstall/re-install new drivers - UNLESS you've got a
USB, or wireless keyboard. In which case, follow the instructions included.
WinMe would 'normally' recognise (pnp) most keyboards.
If the new keyboard has a different type of connector, come back and tell us
what type it is.
