Recommendation for 2.0 Speakers w/Flat Panel

Any recommendations for some decent speakers that are just 2.0 (i.e. 2
speakers, not separate woofer or multi speaker config). Would like
something small and possibly thin to look good with flat panel monitors.

Thin speakers will sound tinny unless you add a subwoofer. The sub
woofer hides away under your desk or in a corner anyway. I use flat
planar speakers made by Monsoon on both my PC's and they have very
good sound quality, but you must use a sub woofer with them or they
have no bottom end.
