More info?)
Let's stop and think for a moment.
You have a PC, a laptop, and a Linksys wireless router.
Your PC is connected to the router with an ethernet cable.
Your laptop used to be connected to the router via wireless, but after
the re-format, it no longer is.
Right so far?
Now, do you have a newer laptop with a built-in wireless capability or
an older laptop for which you bought a wireless adaptor (usually a card
that plugs into the laptop)?
If you have a separate wireless adaptor for the laptop (such as, for
example, a Linksys WPC54G (http://tinyurl.com/7pmgm)), you should have a
cd for that piece of hardware in addition to the cd for the router.
What Malke was suggesting is that you put the CD for the adaptor (not
the CD for the router) in the laptop (not in the PC).
If you clarify your setup, we may be able to help further
