Hi,
We are running NT 4.0 servers in our network with 95, 98,
2k and XP PC. There is a strange probelm we encounter
pretty frequently, which is that the users network account
would get locked all of a sudden while using the PC ( for
example e-mail, shared drives or print command would start
prompting for a psssword), no one else is trying to login
under the user's ID and user is not logged on to any other
workstataion. This happens 3-4 times to day to some users
even with no issues or problems with the servers.
Any help, ideas or sufggestions would be greatly
appreciated.

Thank you

Here is a guide on troubleshooting account lockouts. Some of the
documentation refers to a Windows 2000/2003 domain, but you should be able
to get what you need from here as well:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=8c8e0d90-a13b-4977-a4fc-3e2b67e3748e&displaylang=en

The best place to start is to enable netlogon logging on the domain then
look at the log to determine where the lockouts are occuring from. This doc
should guide you through the steps on to do that.
