OK, I'm violating my own rules here by asking the "help me chose" question. But in this particular instance, i really do value everyone's opinions (even dvdpiddy).

So here's a few pics of some rifles I wanna get. Tell me which one you guys think is the coolest looking. I don't really care about features... just want something that looks bad ass to everyone else.

H&K SL8 (.223, 5.56 NATO)

FN Herstal PS90 (5.7x28)

Beretta CX4 Storm (9mm, .40 S&W, and .45ACP)

So which looks the coolest?

Go for the SL8.

You might as well get a MP5 to go with it though.....just in case it gets lonely.

Reply to dhlucke

I thought about an MP5... but they're so ridiculously expensive and hard to find. Additionally, the MP5 i'd like to have uses 9mm rounds. blah.

But the SL8 is great. Decent price, 5.56mm, and looks awesome. I'm leaning towards the SL8 right now. The grey one...

That PS90 has cool features (like a 50 round magazine), but it's kinda ugly.

Most guys around here with small cocks just get a truck with huge tires.

Reply to KingLoftusXII

Whereas you need yours for hill climbing, yeah right.

How do you know who has teh small cocks?

Are you spying on us?????

Reply to JustPlainJef

So besides terrorizing the neighbors, what are you going to be using this for? Or is this just to get chicks?

Reply to Yahiko81

From the "Buddy Hinton collection"?? Dose it come with a free set of hoop earrings & bangle bracelets??

Reply to AilingBlackLab

I plan on keeping it in my trunk. You know... just in case I need to rob an armored truck or kill someone during a roadrage incident.

The usual stuff.

Reply to mpjesse

Well you look like an HK type of guy.

Exactly, what are you planning on doing with it?

I have a Jeep w/ 31" tires, so no, not huge... 29.5's were stock...

Reply to JustPlainJef

Top and bottom are both cool... Which ever one you want to buy me would be fine...

Reply to JustPlainJef

That's good, I guess. 8) [shrug]

But hey, if its a CJ/Wrangler, I don't think huge tires qualifies as an indicator of an inferiority complex - merely a desire to play in the mud. Now, if it was a 'luxury' truck with monster tires...

Nope, a sissy CR-V with little 15's is the closest I've got to a truck. Very easy
to get it high-centered on an 8ft snowbank after having fun in a field when
blitzed I've found.

Are Tyers' tires good tires? 8)

LOL

'A long time ago' I lived in Sugar Grove, IL - it really was farmland then, not so much now - and had a 1/4 mile+ driveway next to a cornfield to get to the house. Had a guy to plow it for us, and he started plowing once after it snowed and gave up about 1/3 of the way in. I was driving an old AMC Hornet wagon (bright ORANGE! ), and I started taking the cornfield to get around the snowbank...

Until it started to melt. Well, I still took the cornfield, but one time (the last one of course - funny how that happens  ) I didn't keep enough momentum crossing the plow furrows. Funny thing was the farmer came by in his 4wd F150 and he got stuck before getting to me to get me out (I didn't feel so bad then :) ). He had to walk a ways to his barn and get the tractor to get us out.

Mike.

1. Get the H&K SL8 ... easy :)

2. Get the cheezeburger, loaded - I'm dying here.

Reply to Jake_Barnes

Go for the H&K SL8, I could tell you why but then I'd have to kill you.

15" tires?!?!?! Holy crap! My RIMS are 15"! How big are your rims, 7"? Holy crap mate!!!

:P

Reply to JustPlainJef

We'd just gotten about a foot of snow and we were horsing around in a field.
As we were heading back to the road I aimed for the largest snowbank. Just
as we were closing in, in a brief moment of logic, my bud says "their might be
a hydrant in there". I let off the gas for a moment, got back on it, but it was too
late. You loose momemtum quick in a foot of snow. Stick right at the top. Not
being a true 4x4 and only AWD, the left front and rear right were just spinning.
Finally he hopped in the back and I was able to back off. Then get speed to go
over it properly. ( it just had to be done)

Yes we were trashed, but...I live on in a 'dead-end' development
with no through traffic. the field is 100yards from my place, so we weren't out on
true public roads trashed, just to clarify. (it was 2am)

I just knew you'd understand!

Don't feel bad about the Hornet. In the 70's my mom had a Gremlin...
White with a red 'bad-ass' racing stripe.

2 eye rolls for the mighty Gremlin!!!

15" rims. My way of doing things. With trucks I go by outside radius, with cars, (CR-V based on a car) I go by the rim. Please don't make me go outside and measure the tire!

Yes but which one?

Reply to dvdpiddy

There's only ONE sniper rifle in this world that's worth mentioning.

M107 Barrett

The rifle by which all other rifles are measured. And it's only a few years old. It will literally split you in half.

Geez mp you are a gun nut you know that? Let me guess you have a lifetime membership to the NRa?

Reply to dvdpiddy

Actually I don't have any membership with the NRA. While I don't oppose the NRA, I don't necessarily agree with all their views either. Anyways, here's a video of that sniper rifle in action for ya...

http://video.google.com/videoplay? [...] ber+sniper

I believe they're using some sort of incendiary round. I doubt it's a tracer because A. it's white and B. it explodes when it hits the tank.

Either way, it's bad ass.

Reply to mpjesse

Nice bit of kit, but $12,500? bit steep isn't it?
Still, at current exchange rates, that's only about £6250 (GBP)

It'd be cool for shooting squirrels in my back garden...

Are they even allowed to shoot 'people' with that weapon? I thought it was strictly anti-material use?

You know, tanks, vehicles, the belt holding your canteen...

But no.. I don't think you can shoot a person, you have to shoot equipment...

Reply to Riser

 Can it peirce the side of a tank?
