sata dectecion with abit aa8xe

i hope some one can help i have a abit aa8xe motherboard. and sata hdd, and
the bios does not seam to find sata drive. and i'm not shore how to get it
going.. if some one can help thanks. jungleoz@bigpond.net.au

Have you looked for an updated BIOS?

You probably need to download some drivers from your motherboard's
webpage. Save them on a floppy and then load the drivers into the
system during OS installation by pressing F6 at the exact right
moment.

Check this link for additional info and if that is not sufficient. I
googled for some info and found a lot of links that may be of use to
