Hi,

I'm going to upgrade my cpu from an Intel P4 2.8 (non HT) to a Intel P4
3.06 cpu with HT support. How is HT support enabled on this motherboard?

Will the BIOS enable HT support automatically on boot up with the new cpu or
do I have to enable it manually in the BIOS (I have looked, can't find it)?

Many thanks in advance

Matt U.K.

The Aopen site says it is present, you may have to update the BIOS,
check the Aopen site for BIOS revisions.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the prompt reply, I have the latest "released" BIOS (I don't
touch beta revisions). I take then, that when I put in the new cpu HT will
kick in as I can't find the option to enable it in the BIOS?

Cheers

New processor installed, a re-boot was all that was required. HT working
fine.

Thanks
