I just started using Fairuse and already see a problem. Fairuse want to see a DVD and so far I can't get it to see a ripped movie on an HD. Normally you could just put in the original DVD but my original has been broken (good thing it was backed up to the HD). Flask works but I'm shooting for higher quality. Can Fair be used on a rip? Is there software that makes a hd look like a DVD? TIA

that is a downside of "FairUse" that it can't use ripped DVD's that are already on your HD.
would be interesting to see if it can be fooled by a program that simulates a DVD-drive. I know there are some that make a partition look like a CD-drive but I don't know if there is one that makes a partition look like a DVD-drive.
a better forum for this question is the forum on doom9.net.
check out the posts over there.

respect!
