domain?
What is it usufull for?

Sorry I thought I answered this question.. Basically an NT 4.0
domain is defined by having at least one PDC or primary domain
controller where all security information is centrally kept making
it easy for administrators to maintain. In a peer to peer network
with no domain controller all user account informatioin is kept on
each individual client machine. For more details I would start
