You need to change the setting for restart on blue screen. Control Panel > System And Maintenance > System > Advanced System Settings > Advanced tab > Under Startup And Recovery > Click Settings > Clear the Automatically Restart check box > click OK. Other than that, not sure why you can't run in IDE mode, unless your motherboard has some kind of restriction. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
