We had a HD crash and I had to reload Win NT 4.0 server. I tried rejoining
my workstation and received a 5513 error. I looked this up and followed the
directions and was able to rejoin my WS. The problem is, a new profile was
created on the workstation and I don't want this. Is there a work around
where a new profile is not created on the WS. Thanks for any help.

Stu

PS Our backup was for data only. We don't have an entire system backup.

No, because it sounds like you've created a brand new domain
with the same name as your existing domain. You don't have a
BDC on the network? If not then you'll need to migrate or copy
the profiles. If not many users you can copy the contents of the
old profile directory to the new profile directory. Make sure not
to include the temp internet file because of it's size.
