High CPU utilization on LASS.EXE process on PDC & BDC

Today all of a sudden both our PDC & BDC's CPU utilization started getting
pegged at 100%. The process that was getting pegged was LASS.exe. We could
not find any real evidence In the NT event logs to point us in any direction
to look.

Questions:

1. How can we find what is causing the LASS.EXE to pegg the CPU utilization?
2. What process should we use to troubleshoot this issue?

Note:
All the latest patches have been applied to both of these NT servers.

Thanks for any help

How are you?

In major part of time a high cpu utilization for Lass.exe process means a
virus on your environment (e.g. sasser)

Check if your server are without this threat and let us know.

kind regards
