I just checked the IRQ allocation on my system and I have just about everything on my computer using 1 IRQ. Now I don't know if this is a bad thing. It seems to me the system would run better if they were distributed better. I have an Abit KT7A-RAID MB. Here is a list of of the IRQ Table

01 Keyboard
02
03 COM2
04 COM1
05
06 Floppy disk
07
08 System CMOS
09 Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System
10
11 RADEON
-> VIA USB Universal Host Controller
-> VIA USB Universal Host Controller (yes it is listed twice)
-> Adaptec AIC-786X PCI SCSI Controller
-> Creative SB Live! Value (WDM)
-> Realtek RTL8139(A) PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter
-> HPT370 RAID Contoler
12
13 Numeric data Porcessor
14 Primary IDE
15 Secondary IDE

Is this normal??? Should I try and force IRQ's???

Thank You

If ACPI is functional on your machine, there are no conflicts, and no problems ... declare yourself to be a lucky fellow, and let well enough alone. Setting up the system as APM at this point can make the system upstable, because it really needs to be done during the OS installation. The only reason to do this is because of a unresolved conflict you can't fix any other way. Playing around with the IRQ's could make the system unbootable, if you aren't sure how to do this correctly in advance.

yeah. Don't fret. But to be honest with you I panicked jsut like you. But it's normal for it to be like that . .it is supposed to allow you to add pci cards at will
