Lost Product Key

Hey there all. I recently purchased Windows 7 to install on a PC that I was trying to sell. After installing I put the product key sticker on the side of the machine. Apparently what has happened is that somehow the sticker became, well, unstuck. Now it seems to be lost. I dont need to re-install Windows at this time, but if I wanted to, am I out of luck?
