Kicked back on the couch just now, put my laptop on my knee .... started
surfin they HEEELLL!!!! Thats hot!

Seems like for some reason the CPU cooling fan has stopped working. At that
point the Laptop died. I took the CPU cover off and found the fan - still
spins freely when tried - but I guess somewhere the feedback loop has brook.

Are there any common causes for why your laptop CPU cooling fan would
suddently not work?

Thanks

age or having the laptop on...resting on the couch cushion...blocking the
air vents.....

Maybe when you kicked the back of the couch you shook the connection loose/
