Are there compatible ink-cartridges available for the Epson R200
printer? I am looking for a cheaper alternative than buying the
originals but do not want to fill my own cartridges or mess up the
printer. Thanks

There are others of course but one of the genuine leaders is as below -
aimed always at being 50% cheaper than the OEM.
