Once again I'm asking for advice. Does anyone have any
thoughts on the program Backup4All. I'm thinking about
the Classic version. I have XP Home Ed. with SP1. I am
the only user, but,I have several large files that I
would hate to lose. I would like to backup to DVD. Of if
not, CD. Any thoughts on this program? Also, which
would be the best free antivirus program, Avest or AVG?
Right now I am using McAfee, but am thinking of changing.
Should I? Any help to this old senior would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks, Gals and Guys. You are all so
wonderful. Belle

For backup, I use two strategies. For individual files, I just copy
them to a DVD or CD. For entire drives, I use Drive Image (previously
PowerQuest, now Symantec) image files (from which, by the way, you can
extract individual files). Works for me.
