BDC Installation

I am trying to add a BDC to my network. I keep getting the error message
that it can not locate DC. We have no network problems. Both systems are
connected to the same switch running IP. I even tried installing IP and
NETBUI on the PDC and BDC and still can't locate DC. I assigned the BDC a
static address and I can't ping the BDC from the PDC. I have tried 3
different computers and the result is the same. NT correctly finds the
network card on the BDC. Any Ideas?

If there are no firewalls, including Nortons Internet Security
running on the PDC I would think the issue is the cable,
NIC or routing. You have tried a new cable? How about
the lights on the NIC?
