Is it possible to move an NT4 server to a new domain? We need to move an existing NT4 server that has been working as a BDC in one domain to a newer Windows 2000 based domain. Do I have to totally reinstall the OS or is there a way to demote the server to member status and change domains?

Thanks.

The only supported method is to reinstall in the new domain. There is a tool
called Upromote that can do this though it is 3rd party.
