Does anyone know how to get this to work? I have both the driver and software installed but the sound is still loud. I believe most of the noise comes from my 680w Thermaltake power supply. How do I have C&Q to reduce sound? If I can't, is there anything I can do to lower the voltage so there is less noise?

c&q has to do with the processor fan and the processor fan only. everything else is independant...

Here just follow this website. Essentially your setting up your computer like a labtop since Cool'n'Quiet was essentially brought over from notebook processors.

is there anything i can do to decrease the noise of my PSU?

Unless your PSU has manual fan controls there's really nothing you can do. PSU fans usually automatically determine their own speed if they are variable.

Stick a pencil in the fan blades. Clip the wires to the PSU's fan. 'Oil' the fan bearing with super glue.

Or more seriously, if your case has good air flow without the PSU, and if you don't mind voiding your warranty, then rip the PSU open and install a rheobus and/or a quieter fan.
