Hi,

As a newbie, I'm wondering how I can go about protecting the core
files installed by fs2004 from being overwritten by third party
add-ons when they install. My personal experience is with losing my
radio stack after installing, then un-installing an aircraft. The
only way I know to recover is to re-install FS2004. What precautions
should I be taking to prevent this from happening in the future?

Thanks,
Mike

The perfect solution is to backup your whole hard drive one or twice a week.
How? With a second hard drive.
