Video Cards + Chipsets

Are there any issues regarding mixing up chipsets with different cards. For example, will it pose a problem if i use an ati card on an nvidia chipset? or the other way around. Would it just be better to keep it all ATI and all nvidia? If they dont pose a problem, which one works better?

No it will not pose any compatability problem. It wouldn't make sense for a chipset manufacturer to criple performance with a competitors graphics card either.
