More than 2 Hard Drives? Tags: Hard Drives Connection Motherboards Storage Last response: November 10, 2005 2:32 PM in Storage Share CreativeOne November 10, 2005 1:54:37 PM Hello! I have an ECS Nforce 4 939 motherboard. I currently have 4 hard drives. I would love to connect them all to the computer. The ribbon that I have only has 2 IDE plugs, Id like to connect 2 more drives. When I was shopping for ribbons I only found cables with 2 ports. Can someone give me advice on what to do? Thanks! You will either have to get a controller card installed or switch to sata drives which I am sure your motherboard will support. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
