I've been working on a new system and at first I was going to get a ASUS A8N-SLI Premium, but the more I read I don't really need SLI. So I've been looking at this board instead DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D . Is there any other reason to stick with the ASUS premium other than SLI? Money isn't really an issue, but at the same time why spend 50 bucks on something I'll never use.

From what I can gather, Asus motherboards are generally overpriced for what you get. They aren't significantly more stable than other boards, despite what most enthusiast magazines would have you believe. They're also supposed to be poor overclockers..

I would agree with you, if it were any other Asus board. The SLI premium is the only Asus board that OCs well. The DFI board also OCs well, though it is harder to set up. The Asus is overpriced. About the best all round non SLI board for A64s is the Abit AN8 ultra.
No matter how you look at it though, none of those boards is a bad choice.
