I´m looking for a new GPU card but I don´t know which a should buy. It has to be for AGP slot and be able to run games 2 years from now.

I was looking forward to ATI´s new X1800 card but when they announced that they not well make it to AGP slot, I have to find another one.

My concern i SM 3.0. How much better is a card with SM 3.0 vs. a card with 2.0? I will reather buy a card witch is slowler and be able to play games 2 years from now.

Should I wait for ATI X1300 or X1600 which have SM 3.0 or is ATI x850 (SM 2.0) a better choise or is Nvidia´s 6800 Ultra (SM 3.0) the best card. X850 beats 6800 in all grafic test but 6800 have SM 3.0?

that depends on the what game your playing. for age of empire 3, without SM 3.0 you can't play it for some odd reason.
If you want your gfx to last 2 years, you must get the best 6800Ultra or x850xt, which ever is cheaper

If you want a top of the line card gor AGP....get a X850XT

IF you get a 6800Ultra you better be getting it from a friend who is cutting you one hell of a deal.

X850XT is better then a 6800U.....

Dont wait....get a X850XT you should be fine for 2years.
