Running Windows NT on a Compaq Deskpro. Whenver I try to
save something to my hard drive, I get the following
message:

"There is not enough space on the disk".

This just suddenly started to happen and it occurs no
matter what type of file I am trying to save.

The hard disk shows total size of 3.99GB and free space of
1.84GB.

Any ideas out there? I am totally "clueless".

Thanks,

It may be an idea to run a scandisk. I'm not overly familiar with NT but
if it's possible, restart the computer in DOS mode and type scandisk in
there rather than using scandisk within Windows. Sometimes Windows can
have issues with how the free space is being reported and scandisk
SHOULD fix it.
Hope this helps you,
