Simple question: PC2-4300 and PC2-4200 on same board?

Hey all!

I'm not a memory guru so I have a question I presume to be fairly simple.

I am running an ASUS P5GD2 Premium board with the following RAM config:

PC2-4300 512x2

I want to add an extra 2GB 1024x2 of PC2-4200.

Will the machine tolerate the difference?

Current memory is DDR2 533Mhz.

What brand and model of both the old and the new RAM?

PC-4200 is rated to 525 mhz - just shy of the 533 setting of your mobo. If the ram is good enough it'll make it, if not it may appear to be fine, but cause stability issues or just not work.
