Internet Explorer and NT

When I open a WEB site in IE version 6 on an NT 4 machine,
I start getting sound that sounds like it is playing what
happens on the network card.

Any ideas?

Go to the control panel > sounds > remove the sound associated with the
"Start Navigation" event
