Hi,

Is there a way to setup/configure roaming profiles on a Windows NT 4.0
server for Windows 2000 Pro workstations?

Thankz

Yes they work the same for Win2k as they do for NT.
In user properties click the profile button and set the path to the profile
you want the user to use. You should however "first" create the profile for
them to use. On another machine create and configure a profile the way you
want it for the uses. Then in Computer Management copy the profile to a
share on the NT server. This would then be the path you enter for the user's
profile in User Properties.
Remmember to use network paths and not local, i.e. \\server\share\user1
rather then C:\winnt\profiles\user1.
But also be aware roaming profiles will increase network traffic. Other wise
they can be very useful.

But it is best to share it with the group.
