No, no no... unless you just want the coolness factor and even then it is NO!

hey retard....he said he wasn't going to OC....and longer life is a joke. Yeah some people have machines that are 15yrs old....but they dont use them for anythign but folding.

Basically if your not oc's, water only quiets PC, but with 20dB heatsinks, those are silent also, like Thermaltake Orb at 17dB is pretty quiet and cools good enough for oc'ng some too.

Also, if Water springs a leak while PC is plugged into socket, even off, can short out entire shabang! It is risky to be so cool with water and no clue.

I hate water cooling, in my opinion try to avoid it if there are alternatives out there. how often people come to your house and go "Wohh check out this phat water cooling" I dont think its happening. Also, last time I checked, installation is not that simple.

by the way, since im not familiar with dB, is 20dB is considered silent? Would you hear it from 3 meters away?

I'll take that as a "I dont know" :P

I think that PC fans are rated at 1 foot what I read today, audio equipment is rated at 1 meter.
Whichever standard is used, at 3 meters would be much further, so chances are you would not hear but a low pitch hum, and it might be indistinguishable with the background noise if you have nothing else running to contribute to the noise from your PC. The case fans make other noise, the PSU makes noise, the HD's make noise, etc...
But two 17dB makes somewhere around 27 dB, not 34, and three 17dB fans would make around 37dB, not 51dB

Depending on what is cooling and how you set up the radiator you could make a completely passivily cooled PC - No noise.

No, two 17db fans would make 20db. Three would make 21.5db. Four would make 23db.
