yo i have a 5 year old Compaq m700 notebook, recommend OCing? 700mhz Coppermine P3 576(512+64) PC100 ram (100mhz) at 2-2-2-5 and 1:1 ratio or do laptops get fried when you OC?
Overclock with software and usually not much due to components and additional heat. Might get 2 to 5% which has been my experience, and the only thing noticeable is the lines on the video from overheating.
