im looking for both a vga cooler and a cpu cooler...im using stock on both..

I have a 3500+ venice amd64 on an an8 ultra, inside a superflower case..

now im thinking si-120, with 120mm fan....but any other recomendations....

I have a 6800gs
and im thinking a nv cooler 5 rev. 3

will it fit though? will i run into any problems with this cooler and the card? with the rest of the system?

would zalman be better for any of this??

price isnt a huge issue...prolly under 70$ for each part is fine... cpu =70, and vid =70....thats what I mean... hey if its cheaper, thats good too..

just looking for some recomendations.

Thanks in advance.

Both coolers you choose are the best on the market. Good job.

The SI-120 is better than anything Zalman has, and the NV Silencer is a good choice.
You should be able to hit some nice OC's with your 3500+.

the v700 will get you higher OC than the NV silencer

well i wasnt really paying attention and i ordered the xp-120 insteald of the "SI" 120...

I know the physical differences...but do you guys think its worth it to return it and get the si, as far as cooling wise, or just stick with it...

i ordered a panflo, AND a delta fan, im going to see which i like better, and sound wise..

pan flo pushes about 98cfm, the delta pushes like 200...

so im going to see if i can stand the noisy delta, if not, panfloo I suppose

The 'SI' may get a fraction better cooling than the 'XP', but not much - probably less than 1C unless you're into extreem OCing.

the only draw back is that the xp-120 has compalibility issues

I guess I will check out if the xp fits my board right, I looked it up, and I havnt seen any problems, so it should be good...

but if it doesnt, i will just stick with it I suppose.
