Hello All;

I just recently purchase Bulletstorm for Games for Windows Live. When I tried to run it, "Games for Windows Live states that LIVE cannot connect to LIVE service. Please make sure your computer is connected to the internet."

Of course I googled this and read up on many forums that it is a firewall issues and was link to a Windows Internet Connectivity Evaluation Tool site - which everything passes, but not Test 5 - UPnP Support Test Not supported. I tried to locate info on how to update the fireware on this router but have not gain any luck. Below is the results for the reason of failure for my UPnP. Please Help any in any way possible

Result:
The operating system is Windows Vista
The firewall is disabled
UPnP is enabled by the firewall
UPnP services are running
UPnP Discovery is enabled
Detecting Internet Gateway Devices on the network
0 IGD(s) found
Failed to find any Internet Gateway Devices

I saw this
Bulletstorm Games For Windows Live – Login and Connection Fixes
1. Forward following ports:

TCP 80, UDP 88, UDP 3074, TCP 3074, UDP 53, TCP 53

You can do this by logging into your router. It can be done by typing 192.168.1.1 in the address bar in any web browser. You need to enter the username as ‘admin’ and password as ‘password’. Go to NAT> Virtual Servers and add the above ports. You can give any sever name for each port like ‘Live1’, ‘Live2’. You can refer to portforwarding.com and choose the router you have and follow the instructions specific to it to forward the ports on your system.

2. Disable Firewall or Anti-virus which may be blocking the internet connection and hence causing Games For Windows Live Connection Failures.

3. Reset/Repair TCPIP Stack

Click on Start button.
Type cmd in the Start box and hit enter.
Press Ctrl-Shift-Enter keyboard shortcut to run Command Prompt as Administrator. Allow elevation request.
Type netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt in the Command Prompt shell, and then press the Enter key.
Restart the computer.

4. Change MTU.
You may need to change MTU. You can do this typing the following comments in command prompt.

netsh interface ipv4 set subinterface “Local Area Connection” mtu=* store=persistent

Recommended Values
576 – Dial-up Connections
1492 – PPPoE Broadband Connections
1500 – Ethernet, DSL and Cable Broadband Connections

Put 1500 if you have broadband connection.

Ok I manage to get to the part where I need to enter these ports, however I am not very good on the networking side with computers. If someone can take a look at this screen shot as assist me on entering the ports above -
