Got my bro's system up and running yesterday and after a few probs its up and running smoothly. Here are the specs:
Opteron 148 CAYBE
DFI LanParty UT NF4 Ultra-D (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard
Crucial 2GB (2x1GB) DDR PC4000 Ballistix Dual Channel Kit (BL2KIT12864Z503)
Asus 6800LE
Seagate Barracuda 7200.8 NCQ 250GB ST3250823AS SATA 8MB Cache - OEM
Tagan TG580-U22 580W ATX2.01 2Force SLi Compliant Silent PSU
Thermaltake Tsunami aluminium case
Ok just after talking to him there on msn and he says he is getting 1 error in one stick of ram on memtest with everything at stock speeds, any1 know why this is?? is it bad memory??
More info:
It always failes at test 4 and always at the same address plus it throws 3 errors for that location per run of the memtest.
