so i checking out prices on agp video card, since im running a socket 754 mobo, agp slot, and i see something that i didnt know they did. I didnt know they made socket 754 mobo with pci express x16 slot instead of agp. I got excited. Im planning on buying a new video card the christmas and it seems for the same price i spend on a agp card upgrade i can buy a pci express x16 card and just change up my mobo. which in turns gives me more lasting power on my computer plus i can use the same cpu and memory, not to mention it will give me better video card upgrades in the future. Well what do you guys think about this?

It might be wiser if you have a good 754 board, to just instead of buying more dead end hardware, just get a AGP ATI X800GTO2 instead, and unlock 4 locked pipes and overclock that biatch till you feel good again about your old rig.
That way you add life to your aging rig with awesome for the dough grafix power and no extra investment into an extra mobo lying around place.
