I have an eMachine T3882. It has no built in floppy. I have a USB floppy. In Bios I have USB boot enabled. But the boot screen on startup shows no floppy. So I can't boot from it.

I want to boot floppy to use Ghost 2003.

Have you tried all the usb ports? Some ports dont activate untill after windows is loaded. Have noticed this on some dells.
Usually the ones in the back under the network connection should work first.

Great advice! Tech support (offshore) for emachines was useless.

But I removed all USB devices, put the floppy drive into the USB port next to the network connection, and it WORKED!
