hold on for a minute. you obviously have money to burn. Only thing to say is only if you are a hardcore gamer do you need 2GB OF PLATINUM RAM. Otherwise get 1gb of XMS ram. Oh, just thought of this. If you play new games like AOE 3 then it is better to get the 7800GTX 512mb, it costs less and is better in more games than x1800xt

Again, he has nothing better to spend it on....he has a top notch cpu, top notch gpu.....

I tell people not to get 2GB of RAM when they have a 3000+ and a 6600GT......because the money is better spent somewhere else.


So yes, the 2GB of ram is alright in my eyes.

2ndly the X1800XT is a good card.....the 7800GTX512 isn't exactly cheaper, its 750 last i saw which is more then the X1800XT. but i dont look often at those cards, so prices could have shifted.
