Can someone point out the main differences between the following 2 motherboards:

ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe PCI-Express Mainboard - ATX

and

ASUS A8N-VM - Nforce 410 PCI-Express

I am aware that one has SLI technology and the other doesn't. However, what other differences are there eg. performance differences.

Also what is the fastest processor that each of these boards can accommodate and how many USB ports does each board have.

I'm getting a new computer and not sure whether to get the cheaper one or more expensive one (there is about an £80 cost difference between the 2). Thanks.

www.asus.com can tell you what features they have.

If I remember right, All nForce 4 chipsets are the same chip, but the non-SLI ones have SLI turned off. I presume those would also be the ones that test the best as well, so for heavy overclocking the SLI should net you a better OC.
