Patrick Schmid is the shame of Tom's hardware

Have you read the new article
"Top Secret Intel Processor Plans Uncovered"

It is full of stupid errors and inconsistancy
I have been reading Toms's site for many years
and this article is the worst I've ever read

Articles by Patrick are always not detail and specific enough
they are also poorly organised and putting a lot of unrelated information into a single paragraph

Please use table to present details
and make sure your article is free from mistakes before posting it
or you will definitly be the shame of this site

Just to illustrate

In this page, Kentsfield is said to be the first desktop quad-core
http://www.tomshardware.com/cpu/20051203/top_secret_int...

and then lets look at the first row of the table of this page
Kentsfield is now a dual-core processor
http://www.tomshardware.com/cpu/20051203/top_secret_int...

and this is only one of the examples
just try to compare the content in the paragraph and the tables
you will found some more stupid mistakes

I'm sure we can all agree that you have never made a typo... Can't we?

Oh wait, I guess we can't.

No question mark or punctuation.

"Inconsistancy?" And again, no punctuation.

Surely you mean, "detailed and specific enough..." as well as, "put a lot of unrelated..." and again, no PUNCTUATION!

Wait, I thought we were discussing Patrick's problems. Who is this Patick guy? Even so, don't you mean "Please use a table" and "definitely" ?

Not that I'm saying that Patrick never makes mistakes. Everyone does that. I'm just saying that you should ease off. He's just as much a human as you are.

Yeah, but one of them is a paid 'professional' (though in Patrick's case I use that term very loosely) writer and the other is just some random Joe Blow with grammar problems. There's a pretty significant difference there.

I think you had it right. Had you said "news media sites" then it would be "have", but you made it singular instead of plural, so it's "has". At least I think that's how it works. :?

DUH! By definition he can't call it a quad core processor since it's a dual core multi chip package. Exactly what it is. Oh and btw these articles are translated versions off the German site, so expect some slight problems.

and Schmide != Schmid if you were wondering.

Do you have an update for Windows7 Pro 64-bit vs. XP pro 64bit SP3 for the same benchmarks and applications as this article:
