When I log on, I am getting a message window. The blue
area at the top says, "16 bit Windows Subsystem". In the
area underneath it says-
C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT.
The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and
Microsoft Windows applications. Choose'Close' to
terminate the application.
There is an option at the bottom to close or ignore.
This just began earlier today. I have no idea what it
means or what to do. XP Home Edition has been working
with no error messages until this began. I have been
selecting close. Thank you in advance to anyone who can
assist or share their knowledge with me. There is nothing
in the knowledge base which I can find to help me. Anyone
have any idea what to do to stop this or what it is?

This is cropping up everywhere. It must be virus and or spyware related.
