How is it now with situation about burning Southbridge ICH5?

I just bought mainboard Asus P4P800-E Deluxe and I a red some forums now, where some people wrote, that their ICH5 chipset was burnt, when they pluged some USB device into USB port. Is this problem solved now? Or should I be worried about this big problem? Thanks for answer.

The problem is common to front usb ports only. Using the ports on the backplate has not been a problem, to the best of my knowledge.
It stems more from poorly bonded cases than anything else.
