I have an iPaq 4150 / 4155

This is my first ever pocket pc

What's the deal with it losing all the data if the batteries go flat?!?!?!?

That's ridiculous - my Sony clie/ Palm never did that.

I Had a Clie, and yes the data was lost when the batteries go flat! (except
for the built-in ROM apps)
Hotsync on Palm restores data and application, were as Activesync only
restores data.
You need to use Backup/Restore from the tools menu on Activesync
