Well you are going to go into your bios and raise your htt....but if you have crappy ram it will crap out before you raise it above 205.

My advice is look to lower your ram speed...it will be called a ram divider or something like that.....lower your ram speed as low as it will go. What this does will allow you to figure out how high your cpu will go without your crappy ram becomming a factor.

I dont feel like going through all the details.....http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=46539 go here and read....DL the file in the first thread.

Its not hard i just dont want to type it allout.

a lot of people are getting 2.8Ghz+ from good air cooling with that cpu....but your are a newbie so i would say you could get 2.4 pretty easy.

Would it be worth it? who knows? Personally i would love to know that i OC'd my 2Ghz cpu to 3Ghz....but for me it would be more braggins rights and learning then about speed.....i dont do anything that needs more then what i have now.

If you need more speed....try it, if your interested in OCing....try it....if not then dont. I dont know what will be good or bad for you.

Seriuosly do you just randomly hit the shift button? TYPE EVERYTHING OUT AND DONT TALK LIKE A LITTLE FUCKING KID!!

a 3800+ can go to around 3Ghz on air cooling.....

I would bet 1,000,000:1 its your ram.....

USE A DIVIDER!!

Check your max fsb with the ram on the lowest divider....then bring your ram up to see how high your ram can go....then figure ut the best config.

where would i go in bios to do that? timing are 3-3-3-8 right now i think. my computer locks up at 1.375 vcore. @ 2.1 GHz OC under 4 hours of 3DMARK03 the cpu temp. is 33C. I WANT TO GO HIGHER! hehe all air cooling

I looked in Si Sandra 2005 and this is what it said...... Timing @ 200 3-3-38, Timing @ 167 2.5-3-3-7. i dont know what this means, but i thought it might be informative. Brand is SUPERT? 2x210MHz (420 data rate)

WTF? Sandra said CPU 1 is 30C and CPU 2 is 70C?? is this possible?

Its possible but it would vbe very odd because CPU2 would HEAT UP cpu1.....

My guess is your cpus are too hot....did you bump up the vcore? if so take hat back down to stock....you shouldn't need to do that ill around 2.8Ghz.

i dont know where it is specfically because i haven't used yuor board to OC before.

Its a ram divider, a ram ratio....something like that. it will list eithe rthings like this 2:3, 3:4, 4:5, 5:6, and so on....or list things like 133, 166, 188...

Go to gygabyes forums and ask there...they will know what is called.

Haha, its called looking before you jump. Plus cut him some slack, everyone needs to start somewhere (more specifically, needs to learn from his errors.) And now back to finals (.
