Has anyone tried this Neusiedler Colour Laser Paper Glossy stuff and if
so how is it? It is in a staples catalogue that arrived in the post this
morning.

We use the 100gsm Color Copy stuff for our in house sample prints, works
well in both laser and solid ink, it has a nice bright white finish.

We have tried other brands like Rey and 4cc but always found the Neusiedler
better, we have just ordered some 120gsm to have a play with.

We usually find http://www.viking-direct.co.uk cheaper than Staples and if
you buy a box of 5 reams you get a better deal as well as free next day
delivery.

I hadn't noticed it in any of the viking catalogues that have come in,
with all the pretty pictures of the great Ian Helford (when they want
him to point in the other direction they just do a mirror image so his
parting then goes in the other direction!)

On the thicker side I have been using HP Soft Glossy. So I was thinking
of trying the 160 version, see how that compares.

I'm surprised to read that glossy paper is helpful for laser printing.
I tried the Epson stuff, at great cost (;(), and found little to
choose between the images on standard copy paper and the coated stuff,
which was rather creamy in colour.

I suppose it depends on what you want it for, mine are used for wall
display and for a church calendar as this output is preferred to
anyone's inkjets, plus it makes it affordable to do which twelve sheets
of glossy inkjet paper wouldn't be!
