Monitor/graphics issue-no source signal

Hello,my computer will randomly do a "no source signal" and the monitor will go blank. It usually ONLY does this with one particular program. What would cause it to do it with this one program? The only thing that fixes it is rebooting, and only for a time.

You are describing a classic heat or power problem. Often, either of these issues will cause the video card to malfunction causing the symptoms you describe.

Make sure you fans are actually working and check the inside of your system for excessive dust buildup, hairballs, and dust-bunnies.

Also, how old is your system? And, what make/model are your power supply and video card?
